Upper cabinets started going in today, as you can see, and the microwave/hood as well.  The microwave id currently braced in place with two-by-fours so that the vent to the outside can be installed.  Then the cabinet (on the floor near the range) can be installed above the microwave,  and the microwave can be attached to the cabinet.

Anybody care to guess what this is?  Anyone?  Let me help you.  It's multicolored and ugly.  No?

Well, when I took the light from above the sink, this was attached to the ceiling, hidden by the lights base.  Yup.  It's wallpaper, and it indicates that the ceiling was probably originally papered with it.

I have one thing to say: YUCK!
